many Christians are currently fighting in a war that has killed thousand upon thousands of women , men and children !
yet homosexuality is a huge problem for Christians all over the world ! more so , then a war!
so where is there the logic behind that kind of thinking?????
the 10 commandments say you shall not kill , it doesnt say you shall not love a person of the same sex!

You are more than likely going to get a lot of different and opiniated answers. And first of all while a ten commandment does state that though shall not kill....It doesnt necessarily give footnotes and excepetions to the rule now does it? Unfortunately not and of course we all know that the "loving" Godthat christians and the like so blindly follow isnt most peoples ideal of loving. He did support a lot of bloody wars in the old testament. Heck he even helped the outcome of a lot of them. The one exception to the "thou shall not kill" is unless its in the name of me, religion, or anything that could possibly demise the two.
and furthermore let me just say that honey christian and logic are two words that will NEVER describe each other.

How can you compare the two? Don't you know that homosexuals are fighting that same war? No, homosexuality is not stated in the 10 commandments, but if you actually read the bible you will see that the apostle Paul discusses these things. I do not hate homosexuals but I do not approve of the act. In the same way that I do not approve of child abuse, murder, the war, infidelity, stealing and every other sin!
But I as well as every other person am a sinner and I ask for forgiveness and repent daily.

Ok, first, where do you get the idea that Christians WANT to fight in a war? Christians do not wish to kill people, as a matter of fact, soldiers in general do not wish to kill people, regardless of religion. War happens, and when governments go to war, the people are the ones who fight it, the people are made up of (in this case) Christians. People who enlist in the military don't necessarily want to go to war, but they may actually want to go to college. Unfortunately, many many MANY people lack funds for college and in order to attend, the military is the best option for them. Also, in the ten commandments, it says that thou shalt not commit murder. Murder is defined as Unlawful, usually Premeditated and Not in Self Defence. Christians on the battlefield are there because the law requires them to be, and obviously are only killing the other army's soldiers because their own life is in danger if they do not do so.
On the subject of homosexuality, you group all Christians into a single group. There are a great deal of Christian denominations who DO accept homosexuals. Also, Christians aren't the only ones who have a problem with it, reality check, Nature has a problem with it. If it was meant to be, then we would be able to reproduce that way. It may not say that homosexuality is wrong in the ten commandments, but it DOES say it in Leviticus. Most Christians live their lives by the Entire bible, not just one paragraph.

The translation of Murder in the 10 commandments means you shall not kill out of hatred, or with malicious intent.
God condemns homosexuality as an abomination. That is kind of like calling it worse than any other sin.
Jesus in the new covenant tells us there are two commandments more important than any others: Love God with all your heart, mind and soul...and love your neighbor as yourself. Therefore, we do not hate homosexuals. We simply want them to stop sinning so they can experience the wonders of Heaven along side us. It's because of our love for them as God's creation that we care so much about their immortal souls.

dude....1st, we as Christians are not even under the 10 commandments....unless ur Jewish.....2nd, dont talk about things you apparently dont know about...There's a major diff. between killing people as in murder, and killing as in wartime. Wars have been praised by God and also despised by God throughout the Bible and Biblical times. David was a great warrior that killed many men in war, is he evil and going against Gods will? NO!. And about homos. Yes, homosexuality is a sin, a grevious one at that. One so bad that its thought to be the reason for destroying all of Sodom......Think before you speak moron.

I think your quetion is not well thought out and rather silly.
Suppose you have to make the payment for your mortgage and your dog need to go to the veterinarian.
Does that mean you disown one of your responsibilities? NO! you place both in perspective and prioretize! Duh!
By the way, The Ten Commandments say "You shall have no other gods beside Me.!" And what that means is that you don't impose your simple thoughts or your inferior judgments on The Creator, or mess up His order.
It kills me how your type mishandles God's Holy Word according to your whims, and reject that which is inconvenient to your earthly comforts. Not so smart!
Surely you creatures need to find your place under The Son.
Lord, have mercy!

Jehovah's Witnesses have never fought in a war. They love their neighbor as themselves. We will go to jail before we fight in a war and break God's commandments !!!
We obey God as ruler rather than men. That's one of the things that stood out to me most when I was searching for the true religion. That Jehovah's Witnesses have never and will never fight in a war, and we stay separate from the world.
We as Jehovah's Witnesses have Brothers and Sisters all over the world, the last thing we are going to do is kill them.
We serve the God of Love, Jehovah.

then where in the bible did it say that you should be lovers of the same sex. it is plain wrong, what if everyone in this world becomes lover of the same sex how would we then reproduce. if GOD intended for homosexuality to exisits he would have created two men or two women in the very begining of creation
