Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is a Baptist pastor isn't it? That sounds like something they would say! Idiocracy at it's best!

Since when was "hatred" a family value?
And, whether you agree with them or not, how could you say being a liberal means being hateful? I mean, the entire damn premise of contemporary liberalism and socialism depends upon equal rights, equal freedoms, and the sublimation of the individual towards the whole. Please explain to me where "hatred" enters into that?
Also, at this point I would seriously consider re-evaluating everything your pastor has ever told you. I'm not saying he wasn't ever right, but if he's capable of making a statement as ignorant & spiteful as the one you posed, then I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest he might be just a wee bit biased.

Riiiight. I'm sure your pastor is usually right.
What does that even mean? What does hatred have to do with family values? What do you mean by that vague term "family values"?
Why don't you talk to somebody with a liberal outlook instead of listening to somebody who has no idea as to what he's talking about.

First of all, liberal means open minded, accepting or generous. Perhaps you should look up the word for him. You also might want to remind him of the one thing that all Christians are supposed to do above all others: love one another. Your pastor is not leading by example.

Seems to me that the conservatives are the ones whose only tools are hatred and fear. These self anointed family value conservatives have proven themselves time and time again to be hypocrites. In this case your pastor is drastically wrong and misguided.

Your pastor needs to get his priorities straight. What the hell! Isn't he suppose to be talking about Jesus and going to Heaven stuff?? News flash, your padre is just a man, he has no divine connection to God he thinks he does and your pretty much listening to some guys opinion about **** he knows nada about. Hey, why don't you think for yourself for once??

Liberals don't hate, we shake our heads in dismay at ignorance and naivete.
P.S. If your pastor said 'wouldn't have no family values' then he never learned 3rd grade English. Or was that you?

No offense but......Seems to me like Christians only seem to discuss three topics anymore. Abortion, Homosexuality and Liberals. Please inform the "Man of faith" that there are more issues destroying this world that need to be addressed.
Oh yeah, and maybe bring up that whole seperation of church and state. Just an idea.
By the way, I am Christian, just a little more open minded than most.
