Jehovah witnesses came to my place 3 times..... I missed them every single time...... I am very disappointed since i was looking forward to discussing my atheism with them. I don't go around converting but if they come to me it I can sure try.

Any body got any cool JW stories?
Is it true JW make you sing(once you join) a thing saying you wont get a blood transfusion?

I had one tell me the book of revelations was discovered underwater on copper tablets and carbon dated to 1AD.

Then I called him a bloody liar and made him leave.

Edit. Okay. He did not make all those errors in one sentence....
JW:"It was found in Alexandria"
LG: But most of Alexandria is underwater now, or sand.
JW: It was found on copper tablets under the water.
LG: But the book of Revelations was added to the bible late.
JW:un-uh, this was carbon dated to exactly 1AD.
LG: You can't carbon date to an exact year, you can't carbon date copper, you are a bloody liar and a fraud and I suspect your church must be too, leave this porch and never come back.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not look for recruits to "join" their religion. While their congregation meetings open and close with song and prayer, Jehovah's Witnesses do not use song in the manner described in this question.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not Creationists. They believe that the universe, planets, and earth itself may be untold millions of years old.

While Jehovah's Witnesses do not pretend to be privy to the particularities of exactly how the Almighty created the spirit realm or the physical universe, they do note that the creation account in Genesis uses an interesting phrase: "[created] according to its kind".

According to Hebrew scholars, the term “kind” here means a created or family kind, but with those terms' older traditional meanings and not the modern scientific nomenclature of organisms. That seems to indicate that each general family organism "kind" was directly created, rather than allowed to evolve from a previously existing "kind".

There is no reason to assume that interesting "in between" or so-called "almost there" fossils are not simply extinct species in their own right. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the bible is in complete agreement with true science.

Well if you really want to have a discussion call your local Kingdom Hall and let them know.

I have scads of stories, of a number of types.

No we do not make ANYONE sing. Anyone who decided to make me sing, assuming they could, would regret it, as I am a loathsome singer.

No we do not get BTs. It is something ALL must decide for themselves.

We believe that the universe was created by God. No, we dont just think of Barbra Eden blinking. Clearly the universe has set laws and is well made.

What I find most interesting is the fact that people who call themselves christians, do not have the zeal exhibited by Jehovah's Witnesses. The average christian would never stand a chance debating a Witness on any given topic. Most christians hardly attend their Sunday school meetings, let alone a Sunday or Wednesday night service. Witnesses attend 5 meetings a week faithfully. Sooner or later Mr. Atheist, whether you believe in God or not, you will have to face Him upon death. I would not want to be in your shoes at the Great White Throne Judgement.

I missed them twice myself. But since then I have adjusted my sights and practiced some. I think I am ready for a rematch.

One of them told me he had a book that talked about God. I told him I had a hundred or so that talked about James T. Kirk and the Star Ship Enterprise. They left, it pissed me off because I was just beginning to have some fun. You see I was raised Christian and was even ordained. Most of those folks are way out of their league when they take me on.

I have a tip for you. Next time take their bible and substitute yours. When the book won't fall open to the word they want to bastardize they will leave very quickly.

Good luck, good hunting, and check your sights.
