...so, what if everybody you know, and everybody you don't know, and everybody on Television, and on Radio, were to say that some big miracle has happened, and you were the only one who had not observed a thing - even though you were there at the moment of the miracle?

I would have a hard time believing it. People thought the War Of The Worlds was real when it was broadcast over the radio... We know that just because someone says something doesn't necessarily make it true. Remember the bad call made for Gore in 2000 by all the news outlets?

There's two possibilities: I missed it, or everyone else is wrong. If there was no evidence for it other than what other people claimed, I would not believe there had been a miracle.

It's odd you should ask this sort of question. there is coming a day when precisely what you are using as a hypothetical situation will actually become true.when the true believers are Raptured out. Many will see it happen, but all will deny it was a miracle.
Imagine millions of people all disappearing at one time and no one can explain it.

Maybe the miracle isn't one you need. No loss. We make our own miracles.

you ment think to your slef
damn why me ?
then agin you may think to your slef that
you would assumethat the resaon that you couldn't see it was that god wanted show you it on a another day . or maybe it was to show that life is to be taken for granted . jesus had many followers but only half of them belived in his mircles it was said that he had a grift but after he died 1.37 % of his follweres beived that he rose from the died.

In all things trust your own instincts and heart. It is what is serving you...not opinions of others.

I guess I'm confident that God would be okay with me. So I suppose that I wasn't there because He didn't want me there.
