Review your diet. Fiber content should be looked at and no doubt increased. Also, since the symptoms you describe occur "sometimes" then keep a record of what you eat during the day and on those mornings when you are constipated see what you have eaten verses those days when you wake up feeling OK.

Remember....food you ingest takes 48 hours to reach the lower bowel so you have to look 2 days back to see what foods may be involved.

If you're looking for a natural way to have a bowel movement when you first get up in the morning after a night's rest, try drinking brewed green tea. It is somewhat acidic and will get your digestive system moving.

It works for me.

However I still recommend that you see a doctor because you mention you get stomach pain. Pain is usually an indication that there's something wrong. Do get checked out.

You need to see a doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The 'symptoms' you described fit Crohn's Disease and that can be totally debilitating ... but there are treatments that can help you live a better and more normal life, and the SOONER you see a doctor, the better. There are some other things that could be causing your distress, but they are also treatable and NOT seeing a doctor is very WRONG when 'releif is just a doctor away' (plus time and treatment). Tell your parents, if they don't take you to the doctor, speak with the school counselor.

You could slowly re-train your bowel to empty at night. That would be the easiest solution. And, of course, eat less at night.
