This is a tough one but I will have to go with these five.

5. Jersey Joe Walcott over Ezzard Charles

Jersey Joe became the oldest heavyweight champion (37) but the press didnt give him a chance as he already lost twice to Joe Louis and twice to Ezzard Charles.

4. Randy Turpin over Sugar Ray Robinson

Turpin had never been past eight rounds but dominated the action having Robinson in trouble in the 14th...Robinson won the rematch 2 months later.

3. Max Schmelling over Joe Louis I

Schmelling was thought to be over the hill and didn't stand a chance. German authorities urgd him not to take the fight thinking he would be an embarrassment. Their 2 fights are historically I think two of the biggest and most political.

2. Leon Spinks over Muhammed Ali

This is more recent and is sure to be on most lists. Ali was the greatest and Spinks was suppose to be an easy fight.

1. Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson

And of ourse the most recent and I am from Ohio as is Buster Douglas. Before the fight I had no idea who he was as most of the world didn't either.

These are in no particular order, well at least after the Tyson-Douglas bout. Also, I'm sure there are some others that could have made the list over the few I have here, but these are the ones that come to my mind instantly. Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson Goerge Foreman over Michael Moorer Muhammad Ali over George Foreman Michael Bentt over Tommy Morrison Frankie Randall over Julio Caesar Chavez
