Most communities have a CRIME STOPPERS hotline where you can report crimes anonymously and then given a control number, which you can call back to find out at a later date if you are eligible for any type or reward if it lead to an arrest/conviction of a "Wanted" criminal.

Most cities have anonymous reporting 1-800 numbers for tips. Many offer rewards as well.

When you call or walk into a police station, let them know you want to remain anonymous. the only way you will lose your anonymity is if it goes to court. Every person has the right to confront their accuser in court, unless it endangers your life or national security.
