I may be headed into the California mountains this summer for three months. The camp has no electricity. I am, like, totally into this except that I do not wish to be without internet access. Soooo---lets say I have a laptop (I do not) and a cell phone (ditto) and want to be able to recharge them using solar or wind power. What are some devices that can achieve these goals for me?

Three months? Wow! Long time to be disconnected!

If it were happening to me I'd probably go with solar power.
I'd pick up a 12 volt deep discharge marine battery and a 12 volt solar panel to keep the battery charged up. The cell phone could be powered with a car charger hooked up the to battery and the laptop could be powered with with a small 12 volt to 120 volt converter hooked up to the power supply.

I'm sure there are other ways to do what you ask but that's the way I'd do it.

there are solar panels you can buy that will charge devices, however whether or not they will charge your labtop and cell phone enough is a good question.
if you are cut off from everything in the mountains of CA, its very likely you don't have reach with your phone.

I suggest going to Radio Shack, or other stores with gadgets.
