6:22. The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome.
Lucerna corporis est oculus si fuerit oculus tuus simplex totum corpus tuum lucidum erit

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

11:34. The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be lightsome: but if it be evil, thy body also will be darksome.
Lucerna corporis tui est oculus tuus si oculus tuus fuerit simplex totum corpus tuum lucidum erit si autem nequam fuerit etiam corpus tuum tenebrosum erit

Luke 17:21 (Whole Chapter)
You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you. [ Or is within you, or is in your grasp.] ”

Just so it's clear....KJV means King James Version.....it is not the revised version.

Luke 17 (KJV)
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

You are referring to Matthew 6:22. The word in Greek is haplous which does not mean "one". It means "whole" or good at fulfilling its office... ie sound. It is a medical term.

Jesus was reinforcing the previous statement that "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." When your eyes are free from spiritual blindness (ref. John 9:39), the light of God's presence will shine inside. The singularity of the verse deals with the next which speaks of how you cannot serve two masters. This is the context of this verse.

The quote 'the kingdom of God which dwells within us' is a misquotation and misapplication to what Jesus said. Jesus said that "Behold, the kingdom is within your midst." In other words, they were looking at the kingdom. The kingdom is Christ.

Not sure which translation you are using, but I assume you are citing Matthew 6:22 which reads:
The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear (Greek haplous = single), your whole body will be full of light..." (NASB) Translators render this word in various different ways (see http://www.biblegateway.com/)
The idea appears to be that if your eye is single, or simple, that is, free from duplicity; then you will perceive things aright. If I could paraphrase it, Jesus was saying "When you see things rightly, for what they really are, without distorting them; then you will have a proper understanding of things."
See Titus 1:15,16, which may shed some light on this.

Where, exactly, do you get the idea that Jesus said that....or anything like that? Certainly not in Holy Scripture! Book, chapter and verse, please.
