Because they wouldn't get many members;
as it is, they are quite strong and have alot of money, alot of members. They appear to be a good way to advance in a career,
etc. but they are at the heart of satans activities these days. Believe me, you'll be hearing much more from them in the months just before the true Christ's return.
Many of the masons quit when they realize that something just doesn't add up; they
are swearing to something on their blood, after all...Once they get further up the ladder, the oaths get worse and worse, and continually more evidence is in them to the worship of Satan, certainly not God.
They don't want to scare newcomers out of joining, but at the same time, they don't want to devulge their true identity until they are sure the person is trustworthy - you probably have already noticed they do not like publicity, and endeavor to keep quiet and in the shadows. They are as evil as it gets....well, almost......

Neither Lucifer, or Satan, play any part Freemasonry. The topic is only of interest insofar as anti-masonic attacks have accused Freemasonry of worshiping Lucifer. The confusion stems from such 19th century masonic authors as Albert Pike and Albert G. Mackey who have used the term "luciferian" in its classical or literary sense to refer to a search for knowledge. John Robinson notes "The emphasis here should be on intent. When Albert Pike and other Masonic scholars spoke over a century ago about the "Luciferian path," or the "energies of Lucifer," they were referring to the morning star, the light bearer, the search for light; the very antithesis of dark, satanic evil."

"Lucifer" is the Latin term originally used by the Romans to refer to the planet Venus when that planet was west of the sun and hence rose before the sun in the morning, thereby being the morning star.
The same planet was called Hesperus, Cesperugo, Vesper, Noctifer, or Nocturnus, when it appeared in the heavens after sunset. Although 19th and 20th century occultists would equate other goddesses such as Astarte, Ashtoreth, Lilith, Isis, Cemeramis, Mari, and Ishtar with Venus, links between the cultures and attributes represented are not historically clear. Lucifer as a personification is called a son of Astraeus and Aurora or Eos, of Cephalus and Aurora, or of Atlas. He is called the father of Ceyx, Daedalion, and of the Hesperides. Lucifer is also a surname of several goddesses of light, such as Artemis, Aurora, and Hecate.

errr Lotta , when Satan comes to earth in person ,He only has 5 month to convince everybody he is Christ. He is NOT going to waste time hiding in the masons or anywhere else. He will make a bee line for the holy temple in Jerusalem. Unlike the the prodigal son satin is already sentenced to death . anybody who invites Satan for a friend has brought a back stabbing snake into the cockpit with them. love Swindled

Where did you read that?

Was it Bill Schoebelan? He's the guy that in a span of 10 years claims to have been Wiccan, a Mason AND a Jehovah's Witness....ALL at the same time!

Because if Lucifer was supposed to be at the bottom of the so-called secret organisation it would be easy to prove, duh.

Good conspiracy theories are unprovable. That doesn't mean they are wrong or right.

So, you must be pretty high up in the Masons yourself then, are you?

That's not true. Stop spreading that kind of rumor.
