Maybe you are independent person. The bible says honor the Sabbath and keep it holy, it doesn’t say you must attend your designated church. If you are uncomfortable then maybe it is because your views are different then your church’s. Explore your options. If you are most comfortable doing it alone, then why not do it alone? There is less pressure and you can be very honest with yourself at that point.

i don't know that it should. It is pretty common to have this experience. I find in my life that when I am making good steps with God, the temptations and trials get stronger. when I'm ignoring God and not doing anything, life is simple. It makes sense to me. If you're doing God's work and worshiping Him, the devil gets upset and tries to stop you. Why would he bother going after a "useless Christian"?? I take it as a sign that I'm going in the right direction. If you're under attack, you're fighting the good fight. Laugh in the Devil's face and remind him that Jesus has already won the battle and you're choosing His side.
Another possibility is that you're attending a hellfire and brimstone church and I don't advise staying. Read Romans. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. If a church is condemning you and making you feel bad all the time, they're not preaching in the spirit of Christ. Yes your church should remind you that you're a sinner, but in the midst of hope. Christ's victory over sin and death should always be the main focus. A church should remind you of your need for Him.

It could be alot of things. It can be the enemy attacking your physical health on the outside and then when you come to church you suffer from fatigue. I experience the same thing to sometimes. But, sometimes it's depends of how well my prayer life is going or how much word I am studying. But you will have to examine you everyday life. The enemy can introduce certain eating habits or strategies into your personal life which brings you down after service. You will have to even examine what kinds of words are you speaking or thinking when you go to church. You words have power to make you not feel good. Finally, you will have to examine if their is any sin in your life. If the Presence of God is manifesting when the worship comes forth, then in the Presence of God, we are judged. Some believers have left sick after coming out of the Presence of God.

Maybe your church focuses on the negative when putting together services. If something in your life makes you feel awful, it may be time to re-evaluate why you are doing it, and look for an alternative (like maybe another church or a small bible study group). There are hundreds of ways to connect with God, and you should find one that puts your mind at ease, not the opposite.

It could be a number of things like:
Condemnation-Satan has a way of whispering condemnation in our ear, even if we've brought our sins to God and they are already as far as the east is too the west. God has already forgotten your sin, but Satan wants to keep reminding you of it.
Conviction-If there is currently sin in your life and you know it, then yes, you will leave church feeling worse because you know where you should be in your life and aren't. That is God whispering in your ear. It's a compass to get right with him. Consider that a gift and change your path.
Legalism- If you go to a church where there is legalism. If sermons are along the lines of 20 steps to effective prayer, or 30 steps to Prosperity or 50 steps to Holiness etc, etc, that will leave you a feeling of false guilt because you feel like you could never get it quite right or measure up in God's eyes. Think of God as a parent. When our kids come to us and want to talk, do we require them to complete 30 steps to talk to us? Of course not. Some pastors complicate the simple and we "fall short" as a result.
Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps some.

Worship in your own house. Take one hour a week, atleast and worship there. Before you give up on a church maybe you should pray before and after attending. Pray that satan does not have any control on your feelings and mindset before, during, and after the services. Good luck and God Bless.

Depends on what "doesn't make me feel good at all" means. Does it mean that you don't feel welcome or at home with the people? Or does it mean that you had your toes stepped on by the Word of Truth coming from the Bible through the Sermon? See, the Bible is like fire applied to our lives, it will point out the areas of our walk that we lack in, our sins that we entertain that separate us from God, and the pride that we are holding onto with our human nature. Truth burns all the impurities away so God can use us for His purpose. If you just don't like the people, go to adifferent church, perhaps one with a welcome fellowship for new attendees, so you can make friends.i noticed you listed all the works you did at church. Listen, worship and studying mean nothing without a relationship with Christ. That would be like me visiting your house everyweekend, I don't even know you! that wouldn't be any fun for either of us. You need to accept Jesus' free gift of Salvation, and make Him master of your life, then you will never be the same again!Once you are a Christian church isn't a chore, it's just family. If you just don't want to be told that you need to clean up your act, get over it! We are all sinners saved by the Glorious Grace of Jesus Christ, everyone in every Bible believing church across the globe has had to admit their shortcomings and move on to a better relationship with our creator. please don't blame the devil for your uncomfort, you need to be responsible for yourself, the devil has no power next to the one who saved your soul.

it may be the church you are in? yes, satan can enter anyplace, and what better place to change people to following him than in a place where they are 'being religious'?
try out some other churches... corporate worship is important because where 2 or more are gathered, there is a holy presence that is different than when we worship and pray alone.

Maybe in private then you would concentrate better...but you could be lonely though because when you study, pray, and worship...it is kind of better if you do these things with your friends from church that you might have met....maybe not in private might help you......

Do you have a real realationship wih Christ? or do you go for other reasons? If you really love God, Curch will become a joyous time for you, and you can't wait to go.
Keep in mind however, that worship is not a feeling, it is communication with God.
