Just because your in a relationship does mean that everyone else ceases to exist, give me a break. Going out to dinner with an old flame not even close. If I look at a pretty girl at the beach that isn't cheating. Perhaps when a relationship start I think both parties should go over what constitutes cheating that way there is no misunderstanding. I guess kissing with the intent to have sex yes, groping yes, dry humping yes

Well I believe that it is healthy to occasionally flirt, however the limit is always questionable. going to dinner more than once in awhile might be a bit much especially if you know the other person is interested in you and is someone you were intimate with in the past , (Old Flame) . Also kissing is definitely out the question that is cheating and would you like to know that your significant other is out there kissing others??
I don’t want to make you feel bad , but ask yourself is it worth it ??

That's a tough line to define... It really depends on the people... If he hasn't been friends with his ex and then all of the sudden he takes her to dinner, I would be a little suspicious... But if it was an amiable break-up for the two of them, and they are still friends, I wouldn't view it as cheating. However, pretty much ANY physical touching (starting with holding hands) is A. going to lead to cheating or B. cheating. Its best not to even put yourself in a situation with an ex or another girl where you could cheat, be tempted to cheat, or it could be misinterpreted as cheating if anyone saw you... If your bf needs someone to talk to or wants someone to hang out with, he should come to you, not a different girl... Hope this helps!

I would consider dinner with an old flame cheating theres no need to have dinner with an old flame go to dinner with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Ahhhh, the question of all questions....
What about a thought, is that cheating? Daydreaming about another guy, is that cheating? I don`t think so. I think a kiss is cheating, ANYTHING physical is cheating, that`s how I see it, because you CAN control it. You can`t however control what pops into your mind now and then, you can push it away though...lol

Emotional cheating. like sending dirty messages to someone else.
I wouldn't say dinner but a kiss yeah.
Unless you lied about it then obviously you know you did something you shouldn't have and I'd consider that cheating in itself.

I say a kiss is cheating at the very least, dinner not so much. Any more than kissing is very much cheating.

if there is guilt or if there is a reason to sneak it's cheating. I don't care if it's a walk down the street, if there are feelings there and my signifigant other feels the need to hide it from me - he cheated!
There isn't only physical cheating - there is emotional cheating too!!

In one is in a committed relationship, time spent with another would be considered cheating. Since in my opinion, that would be cheating the other of your time.
If you were the 'other,' how would you feel?
