that most of the people in this section are incredibly rude? a dog is a dog, whether it is from a "professional" breeder, or your so called, "backyard" breeder. if the results of two dogs breeding could be such a disaster God wouldn't have made them able to concieve puppies together. Damn I think i'll go back to the religious section. the people there are nicer than the ones here, and that ain't sayin' much

Now I don't mean to be rude but...
Different breeds are a creation of man, not God. Personally, I don't think God DID intend any of these breeds to exist - otherwise they wouldn't have so many breed-specific health problems - Springers with vestibular, chihuahuas with hydrocephalus, boxers and cavvies with heart conditions..... I think these are all clear signs that these breeds were not 'intended' by nature.
And before all the other Pets section users jump down my throat, I'd like to say I love all dogs, purebred or otherwise - but I don't think humans have been terribly responsible in general by the way they've bred them. Certainly not for the good of the species, and that's medical fact.
So there certainly IS a difference between reputable and backyard breeders - good breeders will try not to propagate the inherant problems in breeds by not breeding from individuals displaying these traits. They also treat their animals well. Disreputable ('backyard') breeders don't care about their animals, only about making money.
So all dogs are NOT the same, but it's not their fault, it's ours.

'If the results of two dogs breeding are such a disaster, God wouldn't have made them able to conceive puppies together'
Grown men are perfectly physically capable of conceiving children with ten year old girls - do you believe God intended this to happen?

Wrong and wrong. Not all are rude. Its yer misfortune that u hv come across some baddies. This world is full o people whose behaviour is difficult to comprehend. But u onna yer part should not generalise. There are many beautiful people out here, who want to reach people like u.So change yer attitude quick and fast.Just ignore people who seem rude to u.Be positive in yer approach.Have u listened to the tale of two-One good and the other Bad.God asked both to go out yonder and each find out one Bad and one Good respectively. The good could not find a bad cause all were good in his eyes and the bad could not find a good cause everything appeared bad to him.Gotcha my point.

There can be rude answers in any category on here, not just dogs. Keep in mind that most of these answers are opinions...try not to take them so personal. but people do make me mad on here sometimes. i don't care about the thumbs down-thing.
oh, and i'd rather be in this category than in the Religion category. the people in that category are a little whacko.

I do hope you have realized there are many of us that do respect and care for the animals. The first commandment in the bible is be fruitful and multipy but you don't see too many large families these days. The human population has a little control over themselves where as our pets are dependent on us to help them control their population over growth. A responsibility that you neglected and chose to have puppies with out any knowledge of possible paperwork. You thought you saw a few bucks. You certainly belong in the hypocritical section of religion. to give so little regard to life, even if it is "only a dog" it is one of gods creatures that I reiterate is dependent on us the humans.

I think people respond harshly sometimes because of the questions people ask.
When you ask a question like "I want to breed my dog but know absolutely nothing about breeding?" .....how do you expect people to react. It would help if people did some actual research like reading a book before they come on here asking stupid questions.

Wow, what an incredibly simplistic way to look at things. Are things that cut-and-dried in the Religion section? No wonder all of the religious groups of the world are so peaceful and happy! ;-)

I actually kinda agree with you, I asked a question about training my dog & people were like..stop spoiling him, choke chain him, etc., etc. I was like, ok I'm done here..none of these really help me, hahaha.

LoL! Yeah, I answered a question about a fish aquarium the other day and this lady behind me gave me a thumbs down and I have had fish half my life. I don't know what people's problems are but I think you are right. Everytime I come to pets I get thumbs downs.
By the way: I want to thank all 4 of you for thumbs downing my opinion! See what I mean???
