Can't its germs spread through coming into contact
with it?

We had a dead possom in our front yard... we called animal control and they picked it up.

Put your hand inside a plastic bag.
As you pick the rat up, turn the bag inside out (so that the rat is now inside the bag) and tie in a knot. Or two. Or three.
Put in the garbage bin.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to pick it up with bare hands!!! I'm a real germ freak... so I would probably go out there (with gloves on, even though I'm not planning on touching it) with a shovel or something, and picking it up with that, then throwing it away. Gross!!!!

use a blow Torch & just Burn it up into ash!
that way,...u aint gotta touch it!
Or you can go Borrow somebody else's Dog to go on over there...& gobble it up!
Dogs eat anything! IF the doggie Wont eat the rat,...then,..i Recommend you pour some Barbecue sauce up on it!ROVER will Take OVER! (p.s.
make sure that its NOT YOUR Dog!)
But what "I" would do is get a Blowtorch (i think its about $60) and have some FUN!!!! (I'd Burn it up!)
Or I'd have a Barbeque with some friends AND enemies;I'd Barbeque the Chicken,& Ribs for me& my friends,...and I'd sneak the Dead Rat on the Grill and feed it to one of my enemies (I'd be like "Freddy come on over here&try THIS! I made it for YOU!" "Really?!" Fred said
"Ipsofacto,I want YOU to eat it all!" is what I'd tell him!
OR if you Know any Montagnards that came from Vietnam
you can feed it to them!(I'm SERIOUS!) It's a delicacy to them!!!
