In order to draw the fourth dimension you need to integrate volume and disrupt the space time continuum in which we live.

So, like you said, the 1st dimension is a singular point, the second dimension is a line (think of 2 variables, x and y) and the third dimension is a third variable (z) and gives us a planar structure (or something graphed on a x, y, z graph).

The most typical 4th dimension is time. If you can imagine a 3 dimensional graph, think of a series of that graph one after the other when dependant on time. Basically, a movie of a 3D graph moving is 4D. Ultimately, anything past the 3rd dimension is most easily used conceptually or mathematically. It is very difficult to apply a 4th dimension in a visual way like it is for dimensions 1 through 3.

You can only make a projection of your 4 dimensional object. The computer can do the math just fine, but rendering it, particularly in 2-D, will highly distort the object.
