Not all christians are crabby- that's not what I'm saying, but for you that are crabby and like to spread hate and say nasty things: Does it make you fell better when you say things like "god bless" after you say something rude and hateful? Does that make it more christian in your mind?

It's probably their way to "sugar coat" their hateful words.

"You're an evil piece of sh** and you're going to burn in hell for all eternity.... you'll watch your family and friends burn before you & you will feel the pain of centuries forced upon you as you pay for your sins!! God bless!"

So people think "oh, they said god bless... they must not be that bad after all." when in reality they are abrasive, hateful, insufferably gullible buffoons. May FSM Bless their hearts! :-)

Hi, I'm a Christian, but I've never been called crabby (yet). Anyway, yeah, I even
noticed that. If I have a real direct comment for someone in seriousness,
then I certainly won't write "God Bless" after it. It makes a person sound like they are
two-faced and a back-stabber, you know?
If I'm mad about something it will come across that I am. The only time I write something like God Bless, is when someone Christian has written and sincerely asked for help with something.
Then I might say "God Bless you, hang in there" or something to that effect.
But when someone does this, its because
they are being sarcastic. If someone in public says "jerk" to you, and you say back to them "God bless you", it really pisses
them off, so i think thats why its done, to
pisss off the questioner

Maybe the christian told you the TRUTH, but when you heard it you didn't want the TRUTH.

Throw a shoe in a pack of dogs and the only one that holler is the only one that got hit. Did a christian hit you with TRUTH and you refuse to take heed.

Most Christians are not crabby. A christian should tell you the truth from the bibles perspective not their personal opinion. If that upset you then look within yourself and try to change the problem with gods help.

There's nothing wrong with saying God bless if it is sincere. GOD BLESS!!!

I'm very careful who I say God Bless you to.

You titled your question to crabby christians, and look at all the crabby others who answered ready to attack the first chance they get.

Don't think some Christians are not going to give a piece of their mind when something rude or nasty is thrown at them.

As a Christian I take saying God Bless you very serious and I mean what I say. I know what you are saying some people do not always show that they are Christian they say they are but they do not talk like it or act like they are Christian. I have some in our church that way, so I try to be myself and treat them the same way I would treat any other person. Those people I pray for more so they can be happier. Sometimes they do make the church look bad and Christianity too.

Courtney,

This is one of the drawbacks of discussion when it's done by computer instead of in person. Sometimes a person writes something one way and it's interpreted by the reader very differently. Because you cannot hear the words and how the writer is thinking them in terms of the emotions in the words. Often the reader brings into the reading pre-conceived notions about what that means, and the writer may have very different emotions coming out in their text.

For that reason, is it just possible that what a person says, may not be said in hate or crabbiness, but in their opinion, they are actually saying something that you don't like them saying???

You sound like a crabby Christian. No wonder you know everything about them! Just kidding. I think many Christians as well as nonChristians are suffering from the same mental pattern: that we live on a dualistic polarity spectrum, similar to a number line with positive and negative integers. People tend to beleive that for every shift to the negative left, they have to take one or two steps to the positive right in order to get to heaven. I don't know why people are so self-centered and addicted to the idea that we are all separate, but hey, it exists. And it spreads negativity and more separation. Like the beginning of this question--I started answering with negativity, until I caught myself.

I've been reading post's on here for awhile now, and I would certainly have to say that there are far more non-christians on here posting garbage and writing hate filled post's than there are Christians.

Now, if disagreeing with someone, and being just as big a smart a## as they are in there questions is being crabby, than your certainly using a different measuring stick for different groups of people.

Just look at your post and the responses you got! Almost all of them are from non-christians and almost all of them are filled with hate or contempt. Are all of these people crabby non-christians?

Oh, I thought you meant normal questions who were feeling crabby. I feel very crabby today. I can't wait until my family goes home and gets off my back.
You know what else I can't stand? People who say "God bless it" in place of "G*dammit"

It depends on what was said. I find that most unbelievers feel convicted in their hearts when a Christian says something that is "unpopular but true". Then this person gets their panties in a bunch and gets angry at the Christian and tells them what they said was "rude and hateful" - which is just modern political-correctness, instead of actually taking the comment to heart and try to make some changes in his life.
