Your highlights weren't processed long enough and unevenly.

Go to a different hairstylist. I would've redone the highlights to bring them up blonder then if necessary toned out the yellow or gold.

Color shampoos are only temporary.

Sorry but the only way to get rid of the brassiness is to have your hair redone.

Did You Put In "Highlights" Or "Streaks"? Or "Allover" Colour? If The Tones Are Reddish Or Orange, Use An "Ash" (Green Or Blue-Green Base) Color. If The Tones Are Gold Or "Greenish" Gold Use "Beige" Or "Champagne" (Violet Or Blue-Violet). If You Can Find It L'OREAL® Makes A Product Called "TONE REFINER" Which Is A "Do-It-Yourself" Tone Adjuster Or Just Use CASTING® Or CASTING Creme Gloss®

First of all if your not satisfied with the results make them do it over there obligated to make sure that you are 100% satisfied call them and tell them that you are not very happy with the brassy areas in your hair I'm sure they Will tell you to come back and they will take care of that .

anything with a blue tone in it, theres a shammpoo from matrix called silver, and it cancels out brassy tones, or you can put a toner on your hair... blue of green, cancels out red, it makes it balanced and look normal.

you can try shampoos with zinc to get rid of the brassiness

or you may have to completely strip the hair of color and start over again

go to sally's and buy a color corrector!
HOWEVER- if you paid a hairdresser to 'fix- or add a toner" and it is still not working- I would go back and demand that they do it again free, because they didn't do it right the first time.
