I just found this article from the Journal of Christian Ethics when I was answering a question in the psychology section about Sigmund Freud. It is a MUST READ!!!

Dave P - That is, an exclusively Christian position. Don't agree about Paul though, sorry.

The latest researches have rather proved it that in his personal life as in his professional life, he was a Fraud.

Just to let you know, this is not an exclusively christian position. Psychoanalysis, like pastoral counseling, may have some positive effect. However the basis for each, be it Freud or the bible, is wrong.
Still, one can reject Freud without rejecting sex as the article you reference comes close to doing. How much better the world would be if Paul had come to grips with his homosexuality instead of growing up hating his sexual feelings and spreading that hate throughout his letters.

Journal of Christian Ethics... cafeteria-style approach to science to further the agenda... i.e. GARBAGE. If someone uncovered a Freudian document that, when cut and pasted well enough, would support the right-wing Christian agenda the complete opposite would emerge and he'd be hailed as a demi-god. Similar cut and paste garbage is done to the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. Case in point: freedom of speech... they don't like it when it supports LGBT pride, but when it works as hate propaganda against LGBT issues, it's yammered for in volume... thumbs down in here and report when we don't agree, but it's "persecution" when it's done to them... AMAZING.

Both Freud and Christianity are frauds.
Christian Ethics, a contradiction of terms.

I refuse to read Christian propaganda websites that discredit proven theories with insubstantial interpertations. Websites like that try to dumb down and simplify people into their confined belief system for their own special interests.
