I have ten years' experience as an at-home mom, I was also a preschool teacher, worked with an asthmatic child, have had CPR and lifeguard training, teach piano lessons and used to be a cooking instructor. I would be a GREAT nanny, but am undiscovered.

My sis-in-law was looking into a full time nanny for her infant twins and 4 year old son (who attends preschool 2 days a week). She lives just outside a small city in Idaho with a population of about 50,000. She was quoted $500 per week from those she contacted.

If you are a live in nanny you have to consider your keep as part of your salary but $ 60k a year sounds about right. Good luck

Under my view , 1000 bucks a week is the fair rate.
