I am Christian and I agree. But I think the same applies to Athiests trying to preach to us about not-believing in God. To each their own.

The workers beg the master to send more hands out into the field to help them. The preaching work is very important. The harvest is great but the workers are few. We have to whole world to contact and not much time left. Compared to the population of the world there are so many to reach and so few to do the preaching. Jesus and the angels are also our fellow workers and Jesus offered us to come under his yoke for he said the load is light.
But when the preaching work is done we will hear the message...Enough.
When you go to the door and they are nasty or mean shake the dust off your feet and move on to the next house. Don't waste your time with those that have marked themselves for disapproval in God's sight. Instead hurry to the next house to seek a more favorable ear. The destruction of this era in mankind's history will be unequaled to anything they have ever been through.
Please listen...your life depends on it now.

I think you have forgotten that this is a RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY Answers Forum, with hundreds of questions and answers going back and forth on religious issues. So if you or anyone does not want to hear anything about God, what on earth are you doing here in this particular forum? If you want to be here, then hearing about God is just part of the territory. So live with it! Either you chill in or you chill out.
Now, here comes the part where I start preaching.....do you know Jesus? He died for you so that you can have eternal life. You can possess eternal life if you repent of your sins and follow Jesus with your whole heart.

This is a Religion and Spirituality forum correct? I would think that here would be the perfect place to express our views. I personally do NOT preach at people however if any ever asks a question about religion or God. I am am always happy to answer. If someone does not want to hear about God why come to this forum. Or however, if you are talking about in everyday life. Its just as easy for you to walk away. people seem to get so mad about what Christians say and any talk of God seems to make them irate. I wouldn't go to a satanic, Wicca , atheist forum and yell at them and call them ignorant, not sure why so many non-believers in God seem to want to do that to us Christians.

Yes- However this is a place where someone new comes on everyday, it is not as if we are with the exact same people everytime we share the word of God, AND we are not directing it to those who are not willing to hear, who have already heard. Unless someone is e mailing you constantly and preaching at you- that is different, they should not keep doing that. This is a public place, where many come and join everyday. If you do not want to hear God's word, simply do not click on that question, or disregard an answer---but please know that we who love the Lord will always share his wonderful truth in hopes that someone MAY hear it and receive it. And God could draw many to Him everyday!

Wrong. This forum is for religious questions. If you don't want an answer that involves God submit it to a different catagory.
If you choose not to read the answer just because it is Christain, then don't and consider your dust shaken from the sandal.
I constatly read answers to good legitimate questions that only flame chriatians. I just skip over them to more reasonable, intelligent answers.

I will stop preaching when I leave this earth. It is the commission of the Christian to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

Yes, as soon as someone tells you they aren't interested, then you stop preaching. Jesus tried to preach to the Pharisees, but they didn't want to hear them, so he left and preached to others.
If the Son of God wasn't able to change people's minds, who are we to think that we can?
I personally try not to preach directly, but instead wait for people to show some interest, such as "I wish I could find a church that meets my spiritual needs." Then I tell them about how my church and my faith in Jesus has helped me.

Good statement..very good. Too often forgotten (others "preachers" besides Christians might consider this as well...since many of you do consider Jesus a very wise and special person, even if not a Savior). It's just plain GOOD advice.

I agree. There are many people who don't want to hear it. BUT, when certain people show up in places like the R&S section, I have to wander. Some are simply antichrist activists who would try to dissuade others, and yet some others are those who are seeking and may not even be aware of it.
