My walls are baby blue and my parents arent gonna let me repaint them so i need help with the theme! I also want so do it yourself ideas..some that are fun but not to expensive..Could you help me out?

Blue and brown are a very hot color combo right now, also maybe add in a splash of turquoise to give it some pop.
Or you could go retro and mix in some lime green, cranberry and a deeper blue. An easy way to achieve the look without painting the walls is change the curtains and bedding.
The other option if it is a pale baby blue use black and white with this for a very modern grown up look, real sleek lines, silver or brushed chrome accessories.
I recommend going to your local bedding store like a bed bath and beyond or linens and things, go to there closeout section and buy individual sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases. This allows you to mix up the colors in one set. You can buy an inexpensive white comforter and sew some funky colored patches or fabric swatches to get the look you want.
Also look around at the bedding sections in stores to get yourself inspired, it's amazing how many color combinations you can come up with to go with baby blue.

My daughter just finished hers last month. She's also 14 soon turning 15. For her colors she chose 2 orange walls and 2 blue (turquoise) color walls. For her accents she has alot of black picture frames with black and white photos in them, orange and blue striped vases containing large orange flowers were purchased at a dollar store. She also has a purple chinese paper lantern that was purchased at ebay for $10. The room is bright and cheery and her friends love it. Good luck and have lots of fun redecorating. Use your imagination and you could also look around your room for things you like and take colors from that as a starting point.

If you can't paint the walls, can you do anything else like put up a border or anything like that? The only other thing would be to change the drapes or window treatments. You will have to work with your parents on this one. Get all your ideas together and present it to them and give them an idea of what you want and they may help you do it.

Maybe do something fun like a leopard print theme. You can find it is various colors. I've seen it in blue, pink, brown...
Or maybe use the color brown for your bedding and accessories and bring the blue into it.
These could be for a young lady and not to kiddie...
