Are they any good for Pecs and biceps? and would they make a difference on physique? I find free weights really boring and am thinking of investing in one. Opinions welcome

Cheers

The rower will work on cardio (heart and lungs) lat muscles (back), biceps and legs. Because it is a pulling movement it won't really get your chest. Pushing movements generally get the chest like push ups and bench press. That said rowing is a fantastic exercise. Good luck!

I bought a York rowing machine 6months ago, every one has commented on how big my pecs and abs are looking after just 6months.Drink a protein shake after every workout on your rower.Dont over do it though. They say 20mins a day is great .Keep it up and you will see and feel better.

rowing does not develop the pectorals or the biceps.

if resistance training was boring you weren't doing it right...no form of exercise should be boring if performed properly with enough intensity
