Welsh is the most beautiful language. You can listen to it for hours, not understanding a word of it, but mesmerised by the beauty of its sound.
I think it is the lilting rhythm plus the rather soft consonants and pure vowel sounds.

I am not Welsh or in love with a Welshman, I am disinterested and impartial.

Italian is the most beautiful language. I like it so much I'm learning it.
BUT. English is certainly the most descriptive and poetic. You can get more shades of meaning in our language than any other. In my opinion.

Italian. It always sounds so musical.
Also it is a very passionate language because it incorporates hand signals as well as words when you are really trying to get a point across.

French, by far. The sound, the flow, the inflections make it beautiful. Each of my girlfriends and my wife loved to hear me speak it to them. I didn't get the same reaction from them with other languages.

I love Latin! I know that many modern languages derive from Latin but I think all the opera and even hearing someone reading Latin sounds so romantic and gothic!

It has remained unchanged in five hundred years. It is the perfect and most logical language.
