The Americans tend to be more religious than the British, with only 10% of britons regularly attending a church service (outside N. Ireland). This would suggest America.

However, the bible is a lot to do with interpretation, which is exactly why there are so many different denominations and many britons feel that going to church is not a necessity of being religious and following the bible. The UK also has religion entwined into its constitutional processes.

Looking at americans (IN GENERAL), they can be rude or exclusive, while the british tend to be polite and inclusive. This is what the bible says 'treat your neibors as you would like to be treated'.

The murder rate and stealing rate in the uk is lower than america, which means the UK following another two of the ten commandments better. Americans sue each other more and are often successful, which suggests lieing is more prevalent (another commandment).

looking at all the commandments I would say thefollowing country support them more:
1)neither
2)neither
3)neither
4)neither (both love the weekend)
5)neither
6)UK adheres better (murder)
7)US adheres correctly (adultery)
8)UK adheres better (stealing)
9)UK adheres better (lieing)
10) neither (jealousy)

So from the 10 commandments (which are the basis of all law from the bible) the UK is following the bible better!

America but not by much! We are slip-sliding away from God and for many it's with great pleasure! Britain seems to have totally embraced a sinful, humanist, liberal philosophy that is anti-Christ and anti-life and anti-righteousness! But like I said, America is following the lion! We Christians in the West need to stand up and proclaim the gospel and make disciples like never before! We also need to pray for revival and a return to the Lord in our nations as a whole and that right quick before it's too late! I know God is into building His church throughout the world but He still cares about Britain and America and other nations for that matter!

I dont think you can generalise a country like that. It's up to an individual and tehir relationship with God.

Personally, I think George Bush is about as far removed from being 'Christian' as you can get. But Tony Blair isnt that far behind!

Oh and Flaming Sword - you CANNOT be serious, surely!!!!! Have you even been to Britain?

Neither. Both seem to be just as far from where they were last century and the century before and the century before. No religion is as close to the Bible in years past;

IN SPITE OF

the wrongs committed by both countries.

It is said that both countries need a revival.

the bible has said on what???

if you read your bible and go to the book of Daniel you will read of a dream and in that dream an immense image. notice the feet of the image of molded clay and iron. they represent the Anglo-American dual world power (united states and Britain) there for they are allies and just about one in the same. they are also considered at this time in history to be the "King of the South".

what was your question again?

ok, now that i better understand your question i will have to say that no kingdom of this earth can or should be compared to the kingdom of God. the bible say's that man has dominated man to his injury and that it does not even belomg to man to direct his own step. in other words God knew that Satan would fail in his attempt to set up his earthly kingdoms and thats why we have these problems that we have today. soon God will come and save the day and therefore proving his right to rule the earth which is what satan would not like us to belive.

the governments of this earth are nothing like Gods kingdom

My answer is that no church is in total alignment with the Bible because the Bible is so contradictory and internally inconsistent, it would be impossible.

That is one of the reasons there are so many divisions or sects.

Neither. Iran and Israel are closer to the governments in the Bible.

to me that's like asking who's right the orthodoxs, the catholics or the protestants. i think they all present good points and better ways to live our lives but they all fall short, excuse me we all fall short.

Just look to Jesus.
