Interesting concept. But if one doesn't believe in the physical big bang what makes a spiritual one more plausible?? Food for thought.....

A spiritual big bang? That's a new concept to me; I'm not sure what it means.
About the other question, some people refuse to ackwnowledge anything that doesn't fit into their science, so the idea of an eternal God that exists outside of time is rejected without serious consideration. The idea of dimensions beyond what we can experience is pure fiction to them.

In the Navajo faith they teach us that all the Gods were created out of the Dust of Space, I guess you could say, after the Bang :)

"In the beginning there was only the mists. There was no world then, only the white, yellow, blue, black, silver, and red mists floating in the air. The mists came together and laid on top of each other, like intercourse, and Supreme Sacred Wind was created. These mists lived in the air, but were not gods. Supreme Sacred Wind lived in light and black clouds or mists in space. During the day there was the light mist, which gave Him light, and during the night the dark mist.

Supreme Sacred Wind has a form like the Earth People and knows all that happens. He became lonely and from the mists created First Man, ’ácé xastˣín, and First Woman, ’ácé’eszą́"

I like Tokyocowboy's answer to that question.

Spiritual big bang... It's an interesting concept. However, I think that person could be trying to hard.

Well since the guy who coined it was stating that God was created this "Spiritual Big Bang," then I would vehemently disagree with that position. But yes, it's a pretty cool term on it's own I suppose.

Maybe the spiritual big bang was when the first person had the first thought that there might be a spiritual thingummy behind some natural phenomenon.

There are other dimensions that only some have access to. My understanding of creation is that it was done by a group of Elohim that do not even know who created them or anything about that God. But they keep creating just the same.
This isn't scientific except that I have had some access to realms that other haven't yet. Life is transcending, if you try to hold it down to what you have known before, you might believe you are stopping it but it is going on without you.

I think I know what you are asking...In the beginning the was darkness and light. Light conquered the darkness and creation came into existence. Light exploded through the multiverse. Certain light aligned with like energy, and so forth. I read a book by Dr. Meg Blackburn than may interest you. Search for it on the link below.

Philosophers F.R.Tenant and Richard Swinburne said if the universe was caused by a big bang then God would have provided the mechanisms for it to occur, this suggests that God caused the big bang.

I believe in a "spiritual big bang" because God the Father and His Son used their infinite wisdom and power to create everything in our world. That to me, is a pretty darn big bang!
