I tend to think .... "look and see how the children turn out"

* self-absorbed, selfish, disobedient?

* honoring to parents, humble, putting other people before themselves, willing to enthusiastically serve God?

I can't speak for the quality of service an atheist gives. I don't usually ask someone who does something good if he or she is a christian or not. However, followers of Christ are called to do things in the manner of Christ. That means we have to look at someone with respect and love of the person and consider their needs above our own as long as it does not conflict with our creator's concepts. I do not know specifically what motivates an atheist. I would be curious to read answers from some of them so I could know.
