I think they do but it's down to personal beliefs . There has been photographic evidence etc but who knows.

Of chourse ghosts exist. But not as we see them in movies. There are more types of ghosts. For example, here in Romania people believed in the past in many kinds of spirits. But no vampires, as the world-wide legend says. Nowadays in some isolated villages, people have crazy (and nowadays illegal) rituals they make if they believe a person has turned into a ghost.
Ghosts usually exist if the person died brutally or didn`t want or couldn`t leave the place.
Here we have many old houses (I persoanlly live in a house full with history) and you can feel there is a presence in some of the old houses in comparison to the new ones where nothing happend. yet.
some say you can see ghosts, but i don`t think so. you might though see one during a second in a mirror, but it could be an ilusion.
or you can see one which is just a memory combined with the image your eye sees right now and so it`s something like the special effects created in Hollywood.
;)

There is more to the word ghost that we care to understand. I believe we are spiritual beings and that parrt of us ,the essence of what is us , for lack of another word , lives on after the death of the physical body , and some can see , feel , smell and have contact with this spiri form, I say this because I have had experiences of this sort , very ,very real in the sense of not being able to really sort of believe what really happened!!! Some of these entities come in good terms , others not so , and I found out that the best u can do is prayer, with strong conviction and faith, candles also help , [white ones] reading psalms , and offering preyers in their name , and placing salt [kosher or sea salt is better] at corners in the house keeps most entities away. Hugs.

i genuinely have seen a ghost, and got chased by a mighty wind that was only blowing right behind me and no-where else on a hot summers day, i heard footsteps with that wind and no-one around for a mile.

Yes. I've seen a few. I don't believe everything that goes bump in the night is a ghost though.

In Nashville one night after clubbing i spent the night at a woman's house. I happened to wake up just before dawn and she was still asleep next to me so i spent a few minutes watching her sleep and turned to look at the clock it was about 5am and the sun was coming up.

I happened to look to the foot of the bed and saw a woman staring at me with red hair and a dark green sundress . I thought maybe she had a roommate or it was her daughter or something (my date was 45) but it dawned on me that this woman who seemed to be in her early twenties at most had the saddest look in her eyes. I couldn't tell iit was a look of just utter sadness, hate or what and as i moved my hand to wake Deborah (the woman who lived in the house) the red haired woman just faded away like a mist but pretty quickly.

I went back to sleep because even though it was a very strange experience i didn't feel threatened by it and i actually felt kind of sorry for whoever the mystery woman was. Several hours later Deborah and i went out to eat and we ran out of stuff to talk about and i just flat out told her "You know i think your house is haunted." She looked at me and her eyes got as big as saucers and i thought "oh great now she thinks i'm insane." but she just said "You are the first person who has been to visit me who mentioned that first. I tell people all the time but no one believes me." She asked how i knew and i told her what i saw. She said she had instances of getting up and taking a shower and when she got back to the bedroom drawers would be opened and so forth. She told me about things coming up missing and the usual electronics turning on and off.

We did eventually stop seeing each other but years later when my daughter was born i noticed weird stuff happening in her bedroom like a Winnie The Pooh lamp fly across the room and crucifixes (my baby's momma is Catholic) being taken down and hidden under beds and so forth. I would also see shadows of people when there was no one in the house and when she was about 6 my little girl asked her grandfather who the man was helping him make Tamales and he told he was the only man in the house. He said when my daughter asked "Well who is the guy next to you?" he was terrified and had my parents come pick her up. Later on he showed her some photos and when my Daughter saw a picture of her greatgrandfather from her grandmother's side (who she never met) she told him that was the guy who was standing next to him when he was making tamales. He was also known to be a devout Catholic who didn't like crucifixes because he "didn't like to see Jesus' suffering."

Those are my tales and why i became interested in paranormal research. People have told me i'm psychic but i just think "psychics" are just good at reading people's emotional states so i don't buy much into that. i strongly believe in ghosts after what i've seen but i haven't seen or experienced anything i used to.

I really don't know which is more shocking: those who believe in this nonsense despite having no evidence - or those who actually believe they HAVE evidence.

Jeezers, I'm glad I'll be getting off this silly planet eventually. Humans appear to be devolving back into flatworms.

Holy "Ghost": 'Phantom' Menace: God our Destroyer.
God [is] a Spirit (not a Ghost, eh): God our Saviour.
God our Saviour will have all men saved AND aware.
John 1:17 notes both grace AND truth came by JC.
Grace is for salvation, and Truth is for awareness.
Be aware: law is "dung", something to be flushed.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Yes, ghosts really exist. No, "sightings" arent always ghosts, sometimes people see a living person who is astral-projecting. Plus, some people simply lie for attention.

To the person who think that is what they have seen, or who have had some kind of supernatural experience - yes they do exist.

To the person who has never had any kind of supernatural experience it is likely they believe - no they do not.

No one can prove to you either way.

No of course not, everything people claim is caused by "ghosts" has a logical explanation.
