Thinking about getting my hair blown out.. and do they use relaxers or anything cuz I dont want chemicals in my hair! And I have heat sensitive hair and lotsa split ends... How did you like your blow out, and what do they do?? And how long does it last?

Yes, I have curly, some-what kinky and frizzy hair! Im glas they only last a few days cuz Im going to the beach next weekend to get it wet and curly again!

I'm Dominican and I have very very curly hair.....they'll get your hair as straight as can be, with just a round brush and a blow dryer. Sometimes they'll set them in rollers first (its easier and less damaging to your hair) I recommend you go, you'll love it. They usually last about 3-5 days, depending on how oily your hair is....and the texture. You wont need a relaxer, unless your hair is very "kinky", but if its just curly you'll be just fine. I recommend you cut your split ends, so your hair can grow out faster and longer.

I've been to several Dominican salons, and nobody is better at blow outs! They've gotten my hair super straight with just a round brush and blow dryer. I'm Sicilian, my hair is very curly. Unless you request a relaxer, they will not put chemicals on your hair.
After the second day, I washed it, however, it would have stayed pin-straight for as long as I left it alone.
