I have looked and looked through the questions and all of the rude, narrow minded questions and answers are from people hating on Christians. Well not all, there are some crazy answers from christians in response to the nonchristian questions, but they at least are a response to a negativity. Why are some of you people so hateful to christians. I understand that there are some rude christians, but why are you lumping us all together? I just went throught the first 10 pages of questions and I dont see a question that starts with "all you non-christians, be damned" or some similar callow and crude statement. What is all the bashing for? Why cant everyone just be in peace and harmony regardless of who believes what? I know someone or someone(s) are going to have problem with this question somehow or another, but here it is anyway.

See, some of you are proving my point. You are being rude and saying I lumped you together when I didnt. I said SOME of you. AND i said I KNOW there are answers that are rude from christians, but I am referring to the actual questions that start it? Show me those.

I dont mean to say that I am not ashamed of the very rude answers that the christians post. I am. ITs these christians that I know make non christians act that way. But just dont LUMP us all. Dont start threads that demean ALL christians. We are ALL people first and foremost.

I'm Pagan but I agree. Generalizing any religion based on just a few extremists is wrong. I respect your beliefs and all and would hope you would respect mine. You don't have to believe it just be respectful of it........Good Luck trying to weed through the Jerks.

The rudest things I have seen have always been responses to a rude question. You might not realize it is rude, but clearly it offends us. If you would learn what offends someone different than you, you might not get as many offensive answers. Christian bashing comes from offensive Christians.

This goes for people of all religions. I've seen people bash every religion on here.

I'm pretty sure you could go through almost all the pages of questions and you won't find anything that starts with "all Christians be damned".

Yes there are idiots on here who just try to get a rise out of pissing people off, but it's not everyone. Also, there are some Christians who are guilty of doing that too.

The "hating on" (My, how I detest that phrase!) Christians is, in large part, a backlash against out-of-proportion influence that the right-wing fundamentalist faction is having on American legislation. If someone wants to go handle pit vipers in devotion to the Dingo God, it makes no difference to me. If, however, they want to make laws that I must abide by based upon the Holy Writ of Dingotheism, I will object. Strongly.

I have many friends and family members who are Christian and for whom I have great love and respect, but I cannot stand idly by while a fringe element attempts to dictate the law of the land.

This question has been asked before.

The only answer you'll get is: The Christians started or the Atheists started.

We can't even agree to disagree.

We get bashed for just the mention of Jesus, God, the Bible, etc.

If Christians bash Atheists it's because of rude comments that they make.

There are very few places in America where non-Christians can express their views without fearing for their lives. The anonymity we all enjoy in the Answers R&S forum allows non-Christians to safely give voice to their frustrations. If you can't handle real freedom of speech and genuine intellectual freedom, why don't you try any of the hundreds of other Internet "Christian" forums where only politically correct voices are heard?

I wish you a good day and hope you will find it in your heart to reflect upon your question! the motto is stay true to yourself and your believes ! that all that matters!

I personally have come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what believe or non believe system is present , there are many who care and many who don't!

as far as their way to express themselves , well - while it might not pleasantly surprise you , it might work for them!

PEACE

Unfortunately, you are correct that people who do not believe in God are often rude to those of us who do. However, I have also seem some answers coming from people claiming to be Christians that I (as a Christian) are ashamed of.

We need to learn to respect one another's views when we participate in a discourse of ideas and beliefs. I don't have to agree with them...and they don't have to agree with me...but we both need to accept the other person's thoughts as being just as worthy of respect as our own.

i believe i'm not rude to christians or anybody else over here(just the trolls.they deserve it!)..if i am, i'd appreciate it if people would point it out so that i could improve..besides, i don't think it is fair to make generalisations like this..rudeness depends largely on the person's personality and not religion.

It's a backlash against people who claim to be Christians but use the title only to judge and condemn others. It's sad that everyone is lumped together, but that's how people on this site operate. They lump every black, white, muslim, Christian, American etc. into one big pile and rant about it.
