Im not the skinniest girl in the world but i do think that im pretty. im tired of being the friend. but he still wants to flirt at work and i dont know if i can do that and just be his friend. how do i tell him not to flirt anymore and still be his fiend

Common practice with some guys, he is keeping you interested and on the line (like a fish) while he looks for someone better (in his eyes). This way if he strikes out for a top prize girl, he has you to fall back on.
You can't tell him not to flirt and still be your friend since he doesn't want to be your friend to begin with. You are under a common female misconception that guys and girls can just be friends. They can't, guys are only friendly with girls because they want to nail them. He will continue to slow play you whether or not you know or acknowledge because he can. He will either get what he wants from you or move on to someone else. It's not like you have a say in the matter of what he wants to do, you can only tell him to take a hike or accept.

Girl I say keep the flirts coming . Hove you had sex with this guy? If not there is nothing wrong with harmless flirting. I know a little something about how guys think. He is flirting with you because you must be pretty skinny or not. Just flirt back with him. He don't have to touch you or kiss you to flirt but I think that flirting will build your self-esteem and give you something to do while your bored at work!!!!:) And I don't think he would be a good candidate for a boyfriend. He is too much of a flirt. You need to move on and just find someone else!!!!

Why are you heartbroken? What kind of relationship do you really want with this guy and why?
So you think you're pretty and you probably are but still, you're making a mistake flirting at work anyway, (close quarters usually make room for that kind of stuff and it turns out to be just a past-time).
And if you don't just want to be friends (it doesn't sound like you have deep feelings for him anyway) just drop it and define a little better what you want for yourself.
It sound to me like you're just getting turned on by his flirting but you don't have any real feelings for him.
