That's easy....money, money and more money. If they can con people into thinking that they are Christians, then they will be more "acceptable". I dislike those programs tremendously because I see them as "examples" for our youth. If my kids were young today, they would NOT be watching.

Wrestling is a sport (albeit fake in all aspects), but the case in point here is not only wrestling, but if you watch Cops or the New Zealand Police Ten 7, you will see instances of people fighting and being arrested. What religion are those people? Who cares? It is in everyone's nature to fight, regardless of their religion, and why focus on christianity when even though some of the things they say and do is wrong, there are others in the world who do and say things much worse than them?

That is just thier job.

Yea, I know, its all fake and its hard to fathom that anyone would be as foul mouthed as a wrestler, but, they have to make a living, and I betcha they are Catholics, so that they can say a few hail marrys and be forgiven by thier priest.

I make no excuse for them as I have none and they are responsible for thier own actions.

I wish you well...

Jesse

maximum persons do not forget that some ingredient this is "commonly used" exists in the main suitable way that replaced into meant. Nature is sizeable to be organic and total. A brewery would promote that its beer is made with "classic spring water". consequently, unnatural includes mean going against nature, or the main suitable way concerns would desire to be. narrow-minded human beings, who're residing in the previous, like the throw around the term "unnatural" for something that doesn't bypass nicely with their prejudices. considerate human beings pay no interest to such loss of advice.

Because people who act like this are hypocrites. They swan around with labels such as I'm "christian" or "good" in a form of pride and ego-gratification (expecting to reach heaven in a golden chariot) whilst carrying on doing bad and hurtful acts.

BUT, isnt wrestling just a theatrical sport (i.e playacting) where drama is used to create emotional tension and excitment in the audience/crowd?

Are you not yourself bad mouthing others? People don't always look into themselves and question whether all of their actions follow the best path. Perhaps a good suggestion would be to stop judging others and look for ways to make yourself a better person.

So called 'violence' and "bad mouthing' in wrestling is all acting, and is no more un-Christian than acting in a movie or on TV.
P.S. A standing ovation for "Father K" for his wisdom!

Oh come on. It is play acting. They aren't really trying to hurt each other and the bad mouthing is just playing. There are no bad intentions here.

They are first and foremost actors. The "violence' is choreographed like a dance. The badmouthing is scripted,

Do you believe that an actor who portrays a bank robber or a cop killer is actually guilty of those actions?
It's thing same thing- they are simply performing a role.

well if you are a religous person then you know that God will for give you and most wrestlers do it for show and since they believe in God they probably ask for forgiveness and I am only 17 and It makes sence to me.
