Why is it okay to askthis about Wiccans and atheists but not about Christians?

Aren't any of you reading the question?? I am asking why it's okay to ask this about others and not about Christians. I'm not suggesting this is true. It is a question about double standards and generalizations.

As for Messeur "You are young and ignorant," the ad hominem arguement does nothing but make you appear ignorant without the benefit of youth.

Well, it's not right to ask about anyone. If people feel they can ask this question about another religion it's because they believe their's is the only religion that has the right to speak out. Are Christians sad people with no purpose, some of them yes. All of them, no. It still goes down to everyone just being human.

Humm.. This might seem cruel, to but all honesty most Wiccans fall into 5 categories (Not all mind you but a vast majority). 1.They are women that are mad at god and change to Wicca as they have the goddess. 2. Those that do not know alot about magick and as they have an intense desire to learn magick they change to Wicca thinking magick is Wicca. 3. Really fat women that are lonely and want to learn spells to attract a soul-mate. 4. Men that think they can get alot of sex. I have been in the occult world for over 11 yrs and I am telling you that most female Wiccans are overweight and not really capable of finding relationships. You find an occasional cutie but most of them are large. Even at their Sabbats, they get with their Wiccan friends and eat. 5. Man haters. Women that really despise men and hate the idea of a patriarch.

Sadly, it seems that people are usually ready to cut down what they don't understand rather than try to relate. Thus, you may find Christians saying this of Wiccans, Jews, and Muslims, or Muslims saying this of atheists, Jews saying this of Buddhists... and so it goes.

Actually, Christians are the happiest people I know!

We know when we are 'Saved', that we have a place in Heaven! Those who arent, such as athiest and all others, are very down on Christians because of this. Some actually Hate Christians!

Rest assure, you probably wont find too many Christians who are depressed or have any need for happiness, (unless they are going through a divorce, as the divorce rate is about the same as all others), because they can always depend on the LORD to be there for them.

Try going to a protestant Church and you will find a lot of happy people!

I wish you well...

Jesse

First of all, I do not say that about other faiths.

Next of all the Christians that I hang out with are happy, fun people leading exciting productive lives!

We just try to sin less and life closer every day to the example of Peace, Love and Forgiveness that Jesus gave us.

Big mis-conception that I also used to have is that if you want to truly be a Christian, you have to be "boring" that is so NOT true!

Peace!

Nobody said you couldn't ask this, you just thought you couldn't for some reason.

We are completely opposit of what you just asked. The Christians I know find peace in their troubles, find rest when they are weary, they are truely fullfilled people. I find thorough peace knowing all my toubles are given to him and he takes care of me.

Its not ok. The Christians just don't like being treated the way they treat everyone else so they aren't listening. They don't like being forced to be treated equally with everyone else.

You're missing something.

And no, it's not okay that that question was asked of others. I was going to answer it (the one where it was asked of Wiccans), but figured it would be a waste of my time.

And yes, I am a Christian.
