Most likely it's because they see you as a failure which means they themselves are failures as parents. They are most likely questioning all the choices they made in reguard to you and wondering where they went wrong. Because of your age and you make it sound like it started going wrong in your early years they are most likely to blame themselves rather than you- where it actually belongs.
They had hopes and dreams for you and I'm almost positive they didn't see jail or prison time in it.
I know there are a lot of "most likely's" and that is because no one knows exactly what they are feeling and thinking.

They are your parents. They will always want the best for you. They will always worry. If and when you become a parent you will realize that. They don't want you to go to jail. They don't want anything horrible to happen to you. You speak like jail is this great place, but one of your experiences may not be the same as the last. And if you get in too much trouble prison I don't think is going to be as great. Don't be so hard on your parents they just care. You should feel blessed not everyone has parents that care that much.

Parent's often worry about their kids, no matter how old they are. Them arguing with you is just one way for the to tell you how much they care. Often people see jail as a bad omen and once you've been there the parents will always worry about your wellfare and hope or pray that you don't go there again and throw your life away. They just want to make sure that you realize that everything has conscequences and you should be careful about your decisions because they can follow you throughout your life.

Being in jail will be on your record forever. Most girls don't want a guy who's been incarcerated. You will always have trouble finding a good job and your life is pretty much limited for the rest of your life. So, yeah, it's kind of a big deal...
I guess it's good you don't want to go back- so do something to better yourself and not get yourself into trouble like that.

Parents have high expections for their children and jail is never included in that picture. They worry about you doing the things that land you there and then they worry about your well being while you are an inmate. Its just life parents worry. So stop going to jail and give your parents a break.

What's so bad about being in jail you say, maybe you are just saying it cause you were not in their long. Your parents worry about you because they feel like if they have failed as parents because they thing that they have brought up a great kid when it's really not like that. Grow up and be a man apologize to your parents for your mistakes and tell them that you are going to fix them. Tell them that you are going to be the son that they always wanted.

oh man, your parents is worried because they have experience:
people will tend to remember bad things and to forget good things about you.
Once people put judgment on you it is difficult to change the judgment. That is why they ask about criminal history in job application, because they agree that your future behavior would be similiar with your past behavior.
But if you think it is okay to be in jail, please think again, or other ways someday in the future you will be regret that you
have done these things.
anyway, what did you do that cause you go to jail? because some offense is easily forgivable if there is no victim, such as driving when you are drunk.

Youa re a total idiot. If you think jail is not bad, maybe you should seek psychological help or better yet wait until you are locked up in a penitentiary and see how you like it then. I work in one and don't know of a single person who would share your idiotic opinion. I feel truly sorry for your parents to have such a looser for a child.

Well they worry about it more because they are using their heads. Obviously life is not serious for you. If you ever want to get somewhere in your life going to jail will not help you. You want to make a good living and do good right? Well I would not higher you based off of your criminal record. You show you are not trustworthy. You lack ambition and have really no self esteem because if you did you would worry and want better for yourself. Plus they worry because they love you and they probably feel they are partly responsible. They question themselves about how they raised you. You are a reflection of them and right now you do not make them look very good. Your actions affect others but because you do not care you fail to see who is hurt by your poor decisions and actions.

Well the main reason is, is because of what this does to your future. Who wants to spend time in jail? This will stay on your record permanently, and will prevent you from getting a good job in the future. Plus it also prevents you from getting any kind of loan with a good apr....if you don't care about any of these things, that's a bad sign. My sister did time for awhile for check bouncing, and let me tell you, she's had to go through A LOT to have a decent place to live and a normal job. She's had to prove to one employer to another with paperwork of what kind of employee she is in spite of her record. She's had to have my mother cosign everything for her from utilities to her lease for her apartment. She's been out of jail since the 90s. So, honestly, when you get out, you need to haul *** to get your life on track and you're going to have to prove to society you ARE WORTHY and that you DO CARE about what happens to you.
