People first need to educate themselves about all religions of the world, INCLUDING THEIR OWN. Then they need to practice the patience, tolerance and love that all religions demand. Unfortunately this world if so full if hatred, ignorance and self righteousness, that this will never happen.

- Keep talking about our similarities. It's hard to do bad things to someone when you see them as a person just like you.
- Religion will always be a problem. If you are a member of a religion that believes it is the one, true religion, and all others are lost and going to hell, then you have already set up a mental disconnect from some people....conflict already exists in your mind.
- Peace has to be your agenda. Not everyone has that agenda....at least not the way you're asking it on here. Many people want peace, which they define as the world living and believing as they do.

We can begin with a little more economic fairness and addressing that requires addressing capitalism.

There appears to be no limit to the insatiable greed of the super-rich? Not only have these less than patriotic scum bags shipped massive numbers of our jobs to other countries, but even when corporations are massively profitable, they feel pressured to fire workers in order to increase profits -- which, of course, becomes the incomes of the super-rich.

Citigroup announced today that it will cut 17,000 jobs under pressure from shareholders to increase profits. Last year's profits were $21 BILLION. The CEO, Charles Prince, was paid $26 million last year.

Not only do the super-rich keep awarding themselves huge tax cuts on top of their lucrative pay, but they also award each other company "perks" which include everything from paid limos to the company paying their income taxes. Meanwhile, they fire workers, complain that $40,000 per year is way too much for workers to be paid, cut worker's health insurance, ship jobs offshore, etc.

Is the only proper description for this just blatant class warfare?

How to promote peace for all humanity! I believe it starts with one person at a time. Make Jesus priority in life. Learn to keep opinions to ourselves, unless other wise asked for.Pray and love one another with sincerity because real peace will not come here on this earth so we have got to understand that God gives us peace with in us that surpasses all our understanding if we allow Him to. If we as Christians could grasp that I believe we would make a difference in this world we live.
God bless you.<><<><<><

First you need to find the humanity! There's no money in peace and you won't find peace on earth as long as there are two people who love that mighty dollar and will stop at nothing to get more and more of it.

In my opinion, the key for world peace is in the hand of parents. Children are not born hating anyone or anything. Hatred is a learnt behaviour. If parents take the lead on teaching their children not to hate from the moment the are born, eventually hatred might disappear. It's true that many will learn to hate from people outside their homes, but, by nature, our parents words are heavier than anyone else's. Sadly, many parents think that one of their responsabilities is to teach their children to hate what they hate, so hatred is a viciuos circle. Let's stop that awful circle!

Start by banning the religions as we know them today and preach the brotherhood of all mankind. What we need is a good old fashioned attack from aliens from outer space such as in the movie "Independance Day" to wake us up and make us unite.

peace this, peace that, how do we make peace, peace, peace, peace...it's all about peace with you, isn't it.

there's nothing inherently morally wrong with war. even god says that there isn't anything wrong with war. you'd know this if you read the old testament. the christians didn't see anything wrong with war either.

it's because they realised that war is an essential part of civilisation. civilised = warmongering, warmongering = civilised. if you think otherwise you've missed an important lesson of the history of civilisation.

vale to you
