So I'll give you guys the lowdown: I burned this particular VCD last night using Nero Express. The video quality was really good. The only problem I had was the fact that there were no sounds! The only sound I could hear were screeching sounds. I really don't know what happened.

Make sure that the file you burned has sound when you play the file on your PC. If this is a standard media file, such as an MPEG, AVI or QuickTime, the video and audio are merged into a single data stream and they are not saved separately. If the file plays on your PC with sound, then it MUST record with sound.

My guess is that the file you're trying to burn doesn't have sound. If it does have sound, then my next guess is that there is something wrong with the sound on your VCD playback.

Good luck!
