spout more patronising hatred and damnation than the christians on here?, truth is you scare me, why, because I try where possible to avoid people who are driven by hatred, if I am to be honest I believe you have all been brainwashed.

No Mia… sadly it is you that has been brainwashed. Christian’s do not hate. They love the Lord. I have not seen one Christian response here that said they hated someone (not that I’ve read them all), nor have I seen any “…spout[ing] more patronising (sic) hatred and damnation.”
On the other hand I have seen many posts by atheists saying they hate Christians. I don’t hate anyone, although I do find I am dismayed by the immoral actions of some: cheats, liars, murders, rapists, abortionists and homosexuals are some glaring examples and people that forcibly take money from some to give to others.

Mia, You seem to be an honest person? How often do you look at this forum? Do you think that all questions and answers are full of hate? I do see many question that are directed as you say. I also see honest questions that people ask because they really want to know.
The problem is that we are living in the last period of time and as 2 Tim 3:1-5 states there will be ridiculer's and haters of the truth. I for one want to see people get the truth of God's word, because this makes a change in their lives and gives them hope. In to days world all we see is man dominating man to his injury. The bible gives people hope if they know where and how to look? that's why I use this forum. Please feel free to ask me questions. gemhandy@hotmail.com

Exaggerate much? Christians are not driven by hatred, but by a love for Christ who loved all mankind. I'm sure you have had some bad experiences with some Christians, but judging a whole group of people based on the worst examples of that group isn't exactly fair. That would be like me saying "I think all non-believers are arrogant, stubborn, and bitter." It's not that simple, no one adjective describes any group of people. I decided Christianity on my own, pretty sure I wasn't brainwashed.
