Yes. It is my belief that any God worth worshiping respects an honest effort to do one's best to be productive and creative rather than destructive. Since I am retired/disabled, my "work" is all voluntary. Therefore, I am free to choose what I will and will not do within a far greater range than someone who must put the needs of the boss or company forward to the extent necessary to avoid being unemployed. Therefore, I suspect I have a greater responsibility along with that greater freedom. That's usually the way it goes.

everyone has their own personal beliefs, but i personally do believe that people's work matters to God. I believe that God honors actions and work from a diligent pleasing heart that are in line with His laws and the laws of the land.

Hope this helps. Just my opinion.

We all...matter to God. He created us, and cares for and loves us. He cares for what we do. He has a desire and plan for us, says Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans that I have for you, plans of good and not evil, saith the Lord, to give you a future...and a hope!" Blessings, Praizn!

Unfortunately, my 8-5 job ...no...I work to make my employers/stockholders wealthier...it is not really putting anything meaningful back into society.

However, it affords me the opportunity both financially, and in my free time to volunteer and hopefully make a difference in other ways.

YES!
He guides me to a higher standard and He is very patient. He loves me the way no one else has ever loved me. He always thinks the best of me, even when I fall. He forgives my sins. He gives me hope and He blesses me every day. He gives me wisdom and He is happy when I walk with Him. He corrects me when I branch out. He is a wonderful Savior. : )
