A man made that statement up! I've been beaten till my life was hanging by a thread! That was my ex-husband who promised to "Love honor and Cherish" me! If you ask me an angry abusive man is as bad as hell!
P. S. I am not a man hater! I have forgiven my ex-husband. But this is my experience.

Angry women are no more impressive or fear-inspiring than angry men.....
.... And typically any angry woman who comes rampaging my way, thinking I'll fear her because she is female.... typically gets put in her place with a verbal slap.
You should just cut forth the quote before the "like".
"Hell hath no fury".
Simple and far more correct.
