My car stereo quit working in my Ford Focus. I hooked up an old one that my husband had in the garage and it works fine, but it doesn't fit in the hole. I can't seen to find one for my Ford Focus. Any suggestions. Thanks

at www.crutchfield.com. if you buy a aftermarket reciever for 129.99 or more, they include the installation kit, (makes it fit the hole) and free shipping. and likely not even taxes. so for 130 bucks it will be much nicer than the factory one. I would reccomend Alpine. the cd never skips and i drive a wrangler (even over train tracks)

2002 Ford Focus Radio

The radio in your Focus was only used in that type of Focus and some Mercury Cougars around that year. You can purchase an installation kit at any car audio retailer that will allow a standard "DIN" radio to fit the opening. If the one you have hooked up is after-market, then it will probably work with the kit.

The ground goes to any metal part of the car and the illuminating wire you don't need that for the after market radio make sure where you put the ground there is no paint there try taking a piece of sand paper and sand it off a bit then put it.

You'll need a adapter plate for a standard sized radio to fit. There are some 4" tall radios available, I think Kenwood makes one. Try crutchfield.com.
