That crazy lady astronaut caught in a love triangle with 2 other astronauts has me thinking that somewhere, sometime, on one of these shuttle flights, 2 astronauts joined the 1,000 mile high club.

You mean, has anyone joined the sixty-mile-high club? I read about that once somewhere. Supposedly NASA's line on it is that it's not their business to know if anyone's done it on board its ships. I think the rationale was something like privacy considerations and that it's not really much to do with scientific inquiry or whatever. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's been done. I also wouldn't be too surprised if it hasn't, though. Astronauts have a very busy schedule, and groups of them live in cramped circumstances without much chance for privacy. Plus, the mechanics of it would be tough to work out--since it requires thrusting against one another in ways that don't work too well in zero G.

I don't think there is to much room in those space stations so unless they had an astronaut orgy I don't think two people can have privacy when they have sex. Awesome setting though...
having sex while looking down at the planet.

they've tested all kind of stuff, substances, behaviors in space. I don't know if they tried sex too, but it's possible. I'm sure some of the crew did want to experience an orgasm, if not otherwise, at least by masturbation. Either as an experiment, or just for themselves. I'd say it's highly possible, many experiments are just confidential or even top secret and not dicussed at all.

There's no privacy on the space shuttle and spacestations, and there was even less in the earlier Apollo and Gemini capsules. Maybe those kinky Russians did it. Or maybe Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin had a wild gay three-way on Apollo 11, but we can't be sure.

Hey it's the nature of the beast isn't it? Put people of the opposite sex together long enough in a confined space and they are bound to do the nasty before long so yeah I would say it has happened.

I would think that someone would have tried it by now... but I thought that there were cameras all over the ship so Nasa on the ground can monitor them for safety reasons?

God I hope so. That would be incredible! I don't see why not they eat drink sleep and take a dump in space. Sex would just be a friggin' blast-no gravity.WOW!
