Well, the bad thing about most organized religions nowadays is that people are raised from birth to believe that they should not question it because God requires blind faith. It is very seldom that you will find an open-minded person who is also truly devoted to an organized religion. They seem to take the philosophy they learn in their religion and apply it to their lives. I speak from experience, coming from a family of Jehovah's Witnesses. I, at the tender young age of 12, relized the possibility that JW's might not be the "one, true relgion." It took a little longer, but I also realized there may not be a one true religion. I don't know how it happened, but I opened my mind to the POSSIBILITY. I don't think one way or the other is true necessarily, because I haven't had the chance to research every religion. But i know there's possibility.

Its not right to stereotype all christians. Many, many, question everything...including their faith. This is why some christians stay deep into reading the word...to help us believe. You can only believe in God through faith, which is the lack of proof, therefore, it is only natural to question. You just have to search yourself and the bible for the answer

Some do, though, true, it's not advocated in the Christian faith. I can tell you from personal experience that, as a Christian, I have had periods of doubt. One of the strongest times that I doubted my faith was actually at church camp!

I think that questioning my faith has actually made it stronger on the tail end.

Some Christians already have. I question everything, including my own faith. I'm always willing to learn more.

I know what why the questionner asks the question but please allow me to reassure you that, speaking as a Christian, I can tell you that faith is examined and tested every day. There are, however a few certainties which provide a foundation to my being. :-

God is real.

The Bible is the word of God, and hence Every word of the Bible is true.

Where my life differs from what the Bible says, I will change.

My faith is always in question - God is not

A lot of Christians already do question their faith. It helps them realize why they believe the way they do. How can you just generalize us all saying none of us do?

I did find myself (christian) questioning my faith. I did lots of research on the history of the church. I have found that the church is basically a control mechanism and keeps people from really living a full and stress free life. WE ARE ALL PART OF GOD. THERE IS NO HELL. WE ARE ALL FORGIVEN. Godloveya.

I think many christians DO question everything. But only the everything that doesn't agree with their faith. If it is their faith or agrees with their faith - hands off, bub.

I spent 25 years questioning and doubting as an agnostic. Now I know that the relationship I enjoy with God’s Spirit is very real and very vital to every aspect of my life.

Personally speaking, I’ve questioned enough and am now ready to grow in understanding.
