My favorite candy is chocolate without a doubt. I think it is the only candy where you really know what you are eating and it tastes just delicious. And there's such a big variety that everyone finds the taste he/she likes.

I actually am quite fond of a Mexican Candy that is hot, sweet, and spicy! Its made from tamirind pulp and is flavored with chili powder, sugar, and salt. Not sure why I enjoy it, but it hits the spot every time!

POTATOE CANDY
1 potato, boiled with skin on till its totally soft in the middle when you insert a knife in center.
1 box powdered sugar
Let potatoe cool by running under cold water
Peel potato and smash it up real good with a fork.
Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
Add powdered sugar.
Beat with fork.
Roll out on powdered sugar, spread with peanut butter.
Roll up from one end, pinwheel fashion, slice into 1/4 inch slices.
