I have very black hair that I dyed to dark brown and put blonde highlights in the salon?

I want to dye it again but do it my self. But I dont know how is going to end up.I know when i was in the salon and i pick a medium brown, she told me that it was to light color for my hair that it wont be shown on my hair.
Please help wich colors or brands are good for black hair!!

Dying hair can be tricky when your hair is so dark. Even if you put in a brown colour yourself chances are is that you will still end up with a reddish tinge as it is lighter than your own. I know going to a salon is expensive but it is definitely worth it.

i know what u mean i did the same thing, i was bright blonde the went black and hated it.. what i did was go to a salon bcz my mom wouldnt let me do it myself.. thye started of with highlights, then i had it stripped 4 times, my hair went brown and eventually got lighter and more blonde i then had a light brown color mixed with all types of blonde and brown so then i used this thing that makes all tones the same color the bleached it 2 more times until i eventually got back to my color i had to wate 2 months between dying it tho and had to stop washing my hair as much so that the natural oils could fix my hair and so it is not damaged at all so maybe you should speak about doing this with a hairdresser making shure you take breaks for your hair to recover :)

I would give anything to have naturally black hair, I love it! Saying that though, if you want to lighten up your hair you're going to have to try a dye with peroxide of some description in it, like perhaps Live Colour and then buy yourself a highlighting kit by Jerome Russell. To be honest, it's safer to go to the hairdressers, because literally nothing shows up on black hair without a really harsh dye going on it, I think you may regret a home dye job.

i have black hair to and once i dyed my hair brown because i thought that was the color and i had been in the sun alot and it got highlighted but when i stoped the roots were darker you know i have black hair. never dye black hair its the mosst beatiful i would never go out with someone that had blonde its so ugly. black hair is the best looking so dont dye it.

The best thing to do is grow out the dark colour and then go to a stylist, stylist dont usually touch hair if it is packeted hair colour if your hair is dyed black, unless you dyed it with loreal. My best bet is loreal :)
