I just want to say off the bat that I am not complaining.. Just Curious!!
I got my cat when he was 1 1/2 , and he has been neuturerd and declawed in the front.
When I sleep at night my cat lays with me just like a human would, head on pillow, body laying long, and puts his paws either on my face or on my neck/ higher chest area. And he Purrs really really loud. I know of other cats that are really quite purrers. Is that normal? Thanks

I won't say he's normal. But I had a cat that was the same way. Very affectionate and purred like she had swallowed a lawnmower engine. Consider yourself lucky that you got a great cat. Enjoy him.

Yes that is normal. Mine loves to lay beside me and on top of me. He is just showing you that he loves you.
