Why don't you do your study by going to a few churches?
But I will help you in the meantime.
1) Sing
Read the Bible
Listen to the service
Pray
Chat with and meet others after
2) Dress anyway you please, remembering God loves you the way you are, but it's nice to wear something casual but smart, it is not a fashion parade! And people off the street are welcomed open arms.
3) Spiritual, mental and social enlightening and benefits.
4) The Bible says that 'Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.) Sometimes the sermon seems it is just speaking to you alone!
God Bless you!
And do pop along to Church!

1) Pray, sing, listen, say "Amen" from time to time, and pray some more.
2) I don't think we have to dress up, but we shouldn't be dressing down either. Jeans are fine, but there shouldn't be any holes in them or your shirt. I personally detest T-shirts at church.
3) We learn more about God. It's kind of like getting a fill-up.
4) The Word of God has changed my life. I am still a sinner, but I try not to be. I also serve Him as best I can in many different ways.
I go to a Southern Baptist church, if that's relevant to your survey.

Here are my thoughts:
1. Pray, Fellowship w/fellow believers, sing, rejoice, help others.
2. I really don't think there should be a specific dress code for church. As a Christian, I know that when I'm gone, none of these Earthly trappings will be going with me. Only my soul/spirit counts with God. So, why would anyone think He cares about what you have on??
3. We get our souls fed with the word of God. We get counseling from others who believe like we do. We get fellowship w/other Christians. We socialize with others who believe like we do, without all of the false pretense of other social gathering places like bars, clubs, etc.
4. Listening to the word of God effects us greatly. We learn exactly what He expects of us and, most importantly, we are taught about his unconditional love and understanding.

We pray, will worship, we have fellowship, we learn, we feed our spirits.
In my church we wear what we want to wear. Some churches prefer suits and dresses...hence Sunday best
By going to church we make friends, build our relationship with God, learn the word of God, and experience the presence of God
It protects us, help us to know God, it teaches us wisdom, gives us strength against the devil and temptations, gives us joy in understanding Gods will

- Cross myself with holy water, genuflect, sit down, join in with the prayers while miming to the occasional hymns, take communion (I'm Catholic).
- I dress anyhow I want, as long as it's neat and clean, jeans are OK, no-one complains about your appearance.
- I get an hour of peace, with someone other than my wife (who I love dearly) telling me what to do.
- It doesn't effect me, as I'm not that religious. Jesus does act as somewhat of an ideal role model, though. The messages are simple - treat each other with respect, be faithful to those who love you, etc. It can't hurt.

In a Catholic church:
1. sit, stand, kneel, genuflect, sing
2. does not matter, church is not a fashion show
3. I did not get much
4. by listening to the "word of God" you should learn to love one another, care for those less fortunate then you and to be selfless
In Pagan circles/rituals:
1. cleanse, pray, enjoy community, feel in touch with nature, dance
2. depends on the ritual and patrons (what ever is comfortable)
3. a feeling of togetherness, love
4. by listening to the "word of Goddess" I feel closer to all living things and the world, caring for those in need
Blessed Be

worship, pray, listen, learn,sing
any way that you feel you are comfortable that is still respectful to God
we get an amazing relationship with God and to have fellowship with like minded people
Hearing Gods word lets us know what He expects from us and helps us follow Him.
I hope this helped
