My mother thinks that my drawings are "morbid and depressing" and she is just being stupid...she so doesnt understand me and lives like in the 70's and she thinks she can just control my life and model me like a little angel....its SO annoying! The more she punishes me for things the more i rebel. I seriously think im going to be one of thoes kids who grows up leaves the house and NEVER EVER comes back!

im sorry about your mother but you can sell them to some musuems. im sure your paintings are excellent . people that live in the 70s think EVERYTHING thats modern is MoRbId AnD dEpReSsInG! good luck.

if your not already in church try going and try to reason with your mom there is obviously some sort of barrier there between you the best way to resolve it is to talk and maybe a local church has a pastor that can sit and speak with the both of you i know alot of churches have pastors that have family counciling and it doesn't cost you a dime... well except to tithe ( give money in the offering plate )

i think you should keep them and put them up on your wall to be some kind of decorations just ignore your mum watever she says.

draw the way you feel about her and it will show her your perspective of her intruding constant remarks.
