I am inviting the 3 girls that I work with on the reception desk as we spend so much time together that we have become friends as well as colleagues, I am also inviting the 2 catering girls that we work closely with, as I feel they are also friends but I am just asking them to the party after the service as we a re limited by space at the registry office. I would not bother asking anyone you don't genuinely consider a friend.

You shouldn't feel compelled to invite colleagues to your wedding. If you have friends at work it is ok to invite these people without feeling the need to invite everyone.

My friend put a notice in the staff room inviting everyone to her reception. Make it look nice of course, not just hand written.
Quite a few people came, but only the ones who really knew her.

As most people have said if they your friends, or you could just invite them to the evening do, and have a buffet. God weddings can be so stressful, especially who to invite.

Only if you're close with them. At least this is the standard answer.

BUT...unless you can afford to invite all of them, I would try to avoid picking and chosing. This may make it sticky when you have to deal with the people you didn't invite.

Only if you consider them to be good friends. Could you perhaps invite them to the reception or party? Remember you have to pay for them!!

I am quietly inviting 5 people from my work who are directly in my group. They took me out to eat for a "bachelorette" night.

Not as a collective, only if they are friends, or you like them.
Don't feel obligated. Have a great day hun! :)

It depends on how close you are with them and if you would feel comfortable with them around your family and friends. My friend got married and she invited several of her co-workers and they enjoyed themselves and got along great with everybody.
