I recently read a question on here about burning a Mexican flag. Why?And why would any mexican person burn an American flag?

So maybe it's a show of anger and frustration towards that certain group of people.Like when I get mad at my husband and break his stuff and throw things at him.I know its stupid, but i do it anyways.

***Only one more thing before I go: I would think the people of our country would hold more animosity towards Pakistan,Iran, and Iraq than Mexico.Mexico didn't bomb our country and we aren't fighting wars with them. So,why not burn the flags of Pakistan,Iraq and Iran?I think it's all stupid and childish, but that would make a little more sense to me.

I think its childish as well and its like throwing a tantrum. They just want to get attention and believe that's a good way to do it. I personally think everyone should show respect to every flag no matter if its from ur own country or not.

People who burn flags, show hatred for that country.
People that are Middle Eastern usually are legal citizens. The majority that are here illegally is Mexicans.

If you do not care of the man and women that fought for this country then you really need an eye opener.

I think that your husband should call the cops on you for spousal abuse. If not leave you.
You really need to start to pay attention on what has happen in the past so it doesn't happen again.

The flag is the symbol of a nation.
Therefore, burning a particular nation's flag symbolizes burning that nation or what it stands for. It is a highly symbolic act. Unfortunately flag burning has come in fashion for even the most simple expression of disagreement with a nation's politics or leader and therefore has lost a lot of its symbolic effectiveness.

Are we in a war with Pakistan and/or Iran? Did Iran, Iraq, or Pakistan bomb us? I thought that was AFGHANISTAN's Taliban ... hhmmm... you should work for CNN since they don't seem to know as much as you do.

As for burning a flag, it's DISRESPECT, plain and simple.

Burning a flag is a crime because it disgraces the country which it represents under the Penal Law.

I have seen hundreds of photos and videos of Mexicans wrapped in the Mexican flag, burning, spitting on, and stomping on the U.S. flag. In addition, apparently the ones who march for "rights" for illegal aliens, think it is okay to hang the US flag upside down (it is not), or to hang the Mexican flag above the US flag (that is not acceptable by US flag protocol either).
Why all the animosity from Mexicans toward the USA? If you choose to come here, and live here, why disrespect our nations flag?
I find it reprehensible that anyone would burn the flag of the United States, and unbelievable that any foreign national who is in the US illegally would do so, in front of cameras.
Did they not know that act would garner many enemies to their cause?

After May 1st 2006, millions of US citizens were shocked by the acts of marchers in our nations cities, burning the US flag, dragging it in the streets, carrying the flags of Mexico through our nations streets, while holding the US flag upside down, or hanging the Mexican flag above our flag. We were apalled and disgusted, and millions of us donated money to anti-illegal alien groups the next day. I have read that the day following, the Minuteman organization, which patrols our borders to protect this nation from invasion by illegal alien criminals, got hundreds of thousands of phone calls from U.S. citizens who want to join them, because they were disgusted with what they saw on May 1st last year. Can you blame them?

What sense is it to you when a someone in the US puts a Mexican flag on their car? or hangs one on the front of their house? or carries one in our streets? or burns the flag of the United States of America?
Now that makes no sense to me.

Edit:
Nexus K...: I don't care about the flag of Mexico, it is not the flag of my nation.
I care about the flag of the United States of America and I have been disgusted at how the flag of my nation was disrespected and desecrated in front of cameras by Mexicans who are screaming for "rights" for illegal aliens (who have no right to be in this country), as if burning our flag, or stomping on it are going to get them any "rights".
As for anyone burning the Mexican flag, maybe they got as disgusted as I and millions of Americans were last May, and did exactly to the Mexican flag what Mexicans had done to the USA flag.
"Do unto others what others do unto you", so you can blame the Mexicans who burned US flags, for Mexican flags that are now burned.
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen, your own country is still there, waiting for your return.

Because it's a good way to behave like a Jackass & get attention for it, versus choosing a productive and proactive course of action to address whatever is bothering you.

I think it's to show that they no longer want anything to do with them, and that they're dead in their eyes. BTW we are in a war with Iraq.
