I took a girl out on the 7th(saturday) and we had a really fun time, well she keeps in contact with me, She is very shy so she just emails me. but she does almost every day, I wanna take her to a hot rod show on the 21st, and a pre party for the hot rod show on the 20th, do you think that is too long to wait for a second date, or being a shy girl, do you think it would be better?

I have already asked her, she said she has been to a few hot rod show's and she would like to go :) i just didn't know if it was too far in advance for a second date or not :)

i dont think there is such a thing as too long for a second date. ask her. she might be waiting for you to make the next move.

If you really really like her you should make a second date before the hot rod show to show her your keen.As she is shy you'll need to make all the moves, she on the other hand sounds interested if she e-mails every day.

Ask her to the show, for sure. Then she'll be able to look forward to it and plan for it. It sounds like you really like her, though, and two weeks is a kinda long time between seeing each other, don't you think?
If you're interested, maybe do something with her that's more mellow. Just get together for coffee or to see a movie. If you can't because you're busy, at least make it clear that you are interested and your intention is to keep dating so she knows where she stands.

im not a girl, but I think that before you go to the hotrod show you should maybe go out for a coffee and a movie or even dinner or lunch, and just spend some time together. She is obviously very keen by emailing you, but just relax and take it easy. Do something you both like first before taking her someplace that she hasnt been before.

i think taking her to the pre party and hot rod show is a great idea! but yeh maybe take her out for lunch or dinner beforehand just so she knows that you are still interested. and mention the whole hotrod show thing to her on these other dates.

i think it is awesome..i used to be shy, too but liked to go out...getting her in the idea of the next date ahead of time might be a god idea..you can email her about it and what to expect..and if you take her to a party keep very close to her and dont let anyone put her on the spot with questions...
she will appreciate it sooooo much.....

Do you like her?If so tell her you enjoy your time together and would like to take her out again.If she does then she won't mind being with you regardless of the dates,but first tell her the dates of the event.
