Any father has a right to their child provided they do not put them in any harm. Yes he is a young dad but that doesn't mean he is a bad dad. Without knowing the circumstances behind the question it's hard to say. If he beat the mother up, was heavily on drugs & alcohol I would say supervised visits only.. But if he's just young & scared (who wouldn't be at that age) then yes he is entitiled. Just remember when the child is older they will know who stopped him seeing his dad. You don't want the child angry at you when they are a teen. If the dad doesn't want to be part of his life then the child will pick up on that as well.

I think that every parent has rights to their child.. there are some circumstances in which you may not be able to see your child, but if there are no reasonable reasons as to why you cannot see your child, then that is not right! It is just as much your child as it is the mothers'. I do think you are a little young to be a father, but never the less, you have every right to be in your sons life!
Good luck!!

Yes, but unless he has a good working relationship with the mother of the child, he (his parents, in most cases) will have to get an attorney to have a formal custody/visistation/child support order put into place. Even at 16, if it is legal in the State he resides in, he will be expected to get a part-time job and make regular child support payments unless custody is joint or he has full custody.

He has as much right to his son as the mother does. I do not think you can actually get support from him until he has a job, and possibly out of school, but rights to the child he has. He is the babies father.

Yes he does but to raise the child you a little too young
but if the mother going to put the child for an adoption you
do have the right to get your child before she do
they have to tell you
you have the right to visit the baby but you need to see
child support agency to see if you need to pay child support
I know you young but remember you have a baby now and this baby need you in his or her life
so talk with your local child support agency like my best friend did and they will help you out a lots

Well it all depends...I mean if the child had been abused or tortured by his father then I believe that the father shouldn't even talk to him on the phone. If you let him get near his son again, Lord knows what he might do to him.

Yes you do you are that childs father. just be there for it and make sure you help support it and you should have no problems. Good luck! you and your family should be very proud, most boys your age, actually most young men would be happy to not have any responsability. good for you and god bless.
